What's Changed?
In S20, Trackside Cameras are now treated much like any other scenery object. Place the asset into the world thn use the Contextual Menu options to help you preview the camera position and set the camera type.
Placing A Trackside Camera
- Search for Trackside Camera under "Scenery"
- Place a camera in the world
- Click Contextual Menu > Review/Reposition Camera view
- Navigate using the standard mouse and arrow key movements
- When in position use Esc or Ctrl-D to deselect the Trackside camera.
- Mousewheel to zoom out to see the camera in the world
Moving an Existing Trackside Camera
- Select Tool > Click on the camera
- Click Contextual Menu > Review/Reposition Camera view
- Navigate using the standard mouse and arrow key movements
- When in position use Esc or Ctrl-D to deselect the Trackside camera.
- Mousewheel to zoom out to see the camera in the world
Changing the Camera Type
- Select Tool > Click on the camera
- Contextual Menu > Change to Tracking Camera, or
- Contextual Menu > Change to Static Camera
- Use Esc or Ctrl-D to deselect the Trackside camera.
- Mousewheel to zoom out to see the camera in the world
